As per the data assembled by CoinATMRadar and LongHash, the number of crypto ATMs worldwide has grown from 501 to 4,000 in less than 3 years, observing nearly 700 percent growth rate.
Bitcoin ATMs gained much traction during the early days of crypto, especially in fast-growing markets such as South Korea. The ATMs are slowly and steadily becoming a preference amongst travelers and foreign residents, who are unable to use the local cryptocurrency-to-fiat ATMs due to know-your-customer (KYC) regulations.
